Ashley Crockett-Guido has been working across the country as a theatre artisan for over 12 years. As a well rounded technician/ artisan, with a special interest in puppetry, Ashley believes in making theater accessible for all ages.

At Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, she became the company's first female Master Carpenter. She has worked as a carpenter/ props artisan for Signature Theater Company on the David Henry Hwang Series and the August Wilson Series. She worked as a props artisan on Tony award winning shows, “Anything Goes” (2011) and “The Normal Heart” (2011).

 

Ashley has also worked in Corporate and Private events as a carpenter, soft goods artisan and talent assistant including New York Fashion Week and The Smithsonian Folklife Festival. 

 

A native of New Orleans, LA, Ashley has a B.S. in Technical Theater and Design from Northwestern State University. She recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music with a M.F.A. in Theatre Design & Production- Stage Properties.

Ashley spends her free time exploring new recipes, creating puppets, expanding her record collection and playing board games with her family.
